Hi, I wrote a show, I am a little bit in love with it and want to develop it. So much so, I’ve put all my shit in storage, sold my car and moved to Austin to develop it. This is God is a Woman the Musical.

Do you ever wish you were in the room when magic happens? In the room for when Beethoven wrote his symphonies. when Shakespeare wrote his classics, When Cher sings anything. Well now is your chance (kinda). I’m Luisa, I’m a comedian in the U.K who is fleeing her politically bankrupt country for the bright lights of America. The land of Dreams. I needed a place where I could meet lapsed catholics, who would enjoy the premise of a musical from a woman who’s never written one and experiment in a political climate which is polarizing but closer in location proximity to Lin Manuel and Whoopi Goldberg. That’s you Texas! Brace yourself for my female Book of Mormon. I can’t sing or play music. But I did grow up on Sister Act 1 and 2 to know a hit when I see one. This is a work in progress for an epic one woman show. Its in the early stages and I want Broadway. Come and help me workshop it to make that happen. 75 minutes running time.
